About The Position
Franciscan Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Labor & Delivery unit at the Indianapolis Campus. Nurses provide comprehensive care to patients and their families by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, implementing them, and reassessing and evaluating each patient. The unit has 12 labor and delivery beds, 8 antepartum beds, and 2 operating rooms. Patient ratios depend on acuity. Travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program is required.
- Be a team-oriented RN willing to be flexible and dynamic in meeting patient care needs.
Nice To Haves
- BSN is desirable.
- Experienced nurses are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Listen to and assess patients.
- Develop, implement, reassess, and evaluate plans of care for patients.
- Provide comprehensive care to patients and their families.
