About The Position
Franciscan Health is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse for its Labor and Delivery unit at the Indianapolis Campus. The RN provides comprehensive care to patients and their families by listening to and assessing patients, developing plans of care, and implementing, reassessing, and evaluating care. The unit includes 12 labor and delivery beds, 8 antepartum beds, and 2 operating rooms. Patient ratios depend on acuity. Travel is never or rarely required.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited program is required.
- Must be a team-oriented RN willing to be flexible and dynamic in meeting patient care needs.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is desirable.
- Experienced nurses are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Listen to and assess patients.
- Develop plans of care for patients and their families.
- Implement, reassess, and evaluate each patient's plan of care.
- Flexibly and dynamically meet patient care needs as part of a team.
