About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab provides patient assessment and collects health data from patients, families, and other healthcare providers. The RN coordinates individualized plans of care to ensure interventions are consistent, safe, timely, and appropriate. The role includes communicating effectively with patients and other customers in person, by phone, and in writing; tailoring patient and family education to assessed learning needs; participating in quality improvement initiatives; and maintaining professional knowledge of current nursing standards, laws, and regulations. This is a full-time position at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois, scheduled Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with on-call duties required and no travel. The stated hourly pay range is $37.25 to $57.74; the offered rate depends on factors including expertise and years of experience.
Requirements
- Illinois RN license.
- Associate's degree.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of EP Lab experience, highly preferred.
- BSN preferred.
Responsibilities
