About The Position

This Registered Nurse position is in the Neuro Intermediate Care unit at Ascension St. Vincent Lucas Family Brain and Spine in Indianapolis, IN. The role is part-time, day shift, working 2x12 hour shifts with rotating weekends. The nurse will lead the coordination of multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive seamless, well-integrated care tailored to their neurological recovery. They will continuously assess and adapt personalized care plans to meet the evolving physical and cognitive needs of patients with complex brain and spine conditions. The role involves monitoring and interpreting vital clinical changes to provide immediate interventions that safeguard patient safety and optimize neurological outcomes. Additionally, the nurse will guide the discharge planning process alongside families and specialists to ensure a safe transition from hospital to home or rehabilitation.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
