This position is eligible for a $30,000 Commitment Incentive. The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, and other standards established by profession/professional groups, regulating bodies/agents. Nursing care will be delivered in accordance with ECU Health and entity specific nursing policies, procedures, and professional standards of care/practice. The role involves the provision and coordination of nursing care, including the collection and analysis of assessment data, identification of expected outcomes, and development of a plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members. This includes identifying interventions, implementing them, evaluating patient progress, and documenting the process, with sensitivity to age-specific and unique patient/family needs. The position also promotes and evaluates the effective functioning of the health care team, collaborates to meet patient/family needs, and delegates tasks as appropriate and governed by the NC Nurse Practice Act.
