Registered Nurse
About The Position
BAYADA at Inspira Hospice is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to serve hospice clients on a per-visit basis across Salem, Cumberland, and Gloucester County, from its West Deptford, New Jersey office. The RN is an integral member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, providing palliative care that helps clients receive the medical care they need while remaining at home. The role includes home visits in assigned geographic territories, care-plan implementation, clinical procedures and treatments, client assessment and monitoring, and case management and coordination. Nurses document care and services using a tablet. The position offers a base pay of $42.00–$47.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and status and subject to negotiation. Requirements
- Hold a current Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
- Have a minimum of one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
- Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- Be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Have strong interpersonal skills.
- Have solid computer skills.
- Be able to travel to assigned cases.
Nice To Haves
- Prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required.
- Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follow a designated care plan in accordance with each patient's needs.
- Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
- Perform assigned duties, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
- Monitor clients' conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
- Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
- Perform client assessments as necessary.
- Provide case management and coordination.
- Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations relating to client care management and services provided using a touch pad tablet.
