About The Position

The Radiology Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process and provides direct care within the scope of practice. The RN works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality nursing care and service excellence throughout the continuum of care. In support of the Cardiologist, the RN assists with diagnostic and non-invasive procedures. The role also involves maintaining equipment and inventory, assessing procedure-room and equipment readiness, complying with regulations, standards, and hospital or unit policies and procedures, and participating in performance improvement activities, department meetings, and in-services. The RN acts as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.

Requirements

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS Certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Conscious Sedation Monitoring competency within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN).
• One year of acute clinical Radiology Nursing experience.
• Ventilator Management experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
