About The Position

The Radiology Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process and provides direct care within the scope of practice. The RN works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality nursing care and service throughout the continuum of care. In support of the Cardiologist, the RN assists with diagnostic and non-invasive procedures. The role also includes maintaining equipment and inventory, assessing procedure-room and equipment readiness, adhering to regulations, standards, and hospital or unit policies and procedures, participating in Performance Improvement activities, department meetings, and in-services, and serving as a resource to other personnel as appropriate.

Requirements

Current and valid state RN License.
Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Current ACLS Certification within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
Conscious Sedation Monitoring competency within 30 days of hire and maintain current.

Nice To Haves

Certified Radiology Nurse (CRN).
One year of acute clinical Radiology Nursing experience.
Ventilator Management experience.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
