About The Position

Under minimal supervision, the Registered Nurse provides nursing care to an assigned group of patients, matching patient needs with the nurse’s competencies. The nurse completes established position competencies within the designated introductory period and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Possess a current Texas State Registered Nurse license.
• Have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from ARC or AHA upon hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Two years of acute care experience.
• Previous clinical nursing experience in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU.
