About The Position

This position is part of the Surgical Services Training Academy, focusing on the Operating Room. The role involves preparing for classroom and clinical work, completing exams, maintaining clinical records, and providing age-developmental appropriate care. The work environment may include many interruptions, varying and unpredictable situations, long irregular hours, and possible exposure to infections and contagious diseases.

Requirements

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of applicable state required.
Strong time management and multi-tasking skills with ability to prioritize tasks/goals in a timely manner
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Prepares for classroom and clinical work prior to scheduling meetings.
Completes exams on scheduled days.
Maintains clinical records of cases.
Maintains positive attitude in clinical rotations.
Provides age-developmental appropriate care in accordance with Age/Developmental Specific Guidelines for the age groups served when participating in patient care.
