About The Position

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with Associates Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelors in Nursing, or Master's in Nursing
Valid RN License
Minimum of one (1) year Registered Nursing experience.
Will consider RN with two (2) years of LPN clinical experience.
Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
Understanding basic medical terminology is necessary.

Responsibilities

Ensuring the delivery of the highest quality Patient and Family-Centered Care within the clinic.
Manage the patient flow processes.
Promote wellness, improved outcomes, and self-care among a defined patient population.
Provide support, education, and assistance to patients who have chronic conditions, helping them prevent and maintain their health.
Triage, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and patient education either by telephone or within the UAMS Clinic.
Deliver nursing care according to standards as defined by UAMS, American Nurses Association (ANA), AR State Board of Nursing (ASBN), and those set forth by nursing specialty organizations.
Coordinate care and/or follow-up for patients who receive care in inpatient and outpatient facilities.
Implement patient care using an approach that is interdisciplinary and Patient and Family-Centered Care.
Effectively collaborate and communicate with nursing staff at all levels, interdisciplinary teams, executive leaders, and other stakeholders.
May perform other duties as assigned to support the mission of UAMS.
