About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a part-time, night-shift Registered Nurse for the ECMO Abd Transplant ICU at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Staff Registered Nurse manages and delivers patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role may require floating to other units and participating in on-call status. The nurse supervises and coordinates licensed and non-licensed personnel as assigned and provides guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate. The position reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. The role may involve additional or varied physical demands and respiratory fit-test requirements. Potential exposures include infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals; standard precautions must be followed.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
Current BLS certification upon hire, or completion within 30 days of hire.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Demonstration of core competencies within 90 days.
Completion of unit-specific competencies within 12 months.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver patient care using the nursing process.
Assess and reassess patients.
Develop plans of care.
Implement and evaluate appropriate patient care interventions.
Document patient care.
Supervise and coordinate licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing patient care, as assigned.
Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
Float to other units if required.
Participate in on-call status if required.
Follow standard precautions.
