The NICU patient population ranges from micro preemies to full-term infants (22 weeks to term gestation) with patient ratios of 1:1-3 across 63 beds. The department features a Neonatologist and NNP in-house 24/7, a Multidisciplinary Team Approach, Multidisciplinary Respiratory Modalities, Daily Multidisciplinary Patient Care Rounds, Electronic Self-Scheduling, No Float to Adult Care, an Active Unit Based Council, and a NICU Parent Advocacy Group. The shift is PT Nights, 7pm-7am. Experience required is 2 years of recent Level 3 NICU experience. Requirements

2 years of Level III NICU experience required
Grad of an Accredited Program
RN license.
Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.

Nice To Haves

A deep understanding of nursing and patient care standards, as well as procedures.

Responsibilities

Oversee patient care using a professional practice model.
Conduct patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.
