About The Position

The Registered Nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The position directs and supervises assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care. The role is at Methodist Southlake Medical Center, a 54-bed acute care hospital serving Southlake, Keller, Grapevine, and northeastern Tarrant County in North Texas. The hospital has 11 operating suites, two endoscopy suites, a diagnostic and interventional catheterization lab, and an expanded emergency department with 12 exam rooms, and provides services ranging from emergency care and advanced surgery to imaging. The stated work hours are 0700-1500.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current additional certifications as required by the department.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• At least 6 months of RN experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
