About The Position
This position is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process. After appropriate educational preparation, the Registered Nurse is capable of expanding the scope of practice in general or specialty areas of nursing. Criteria and specific job duties for each level are defined by department-specific criteria.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of hire.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family, and health care personnel.
- Ability to handle varying issues in any situation and work effectively individually and as a member of a team in a stress-producing environment.
