About The Position

The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital in Round Rock, Texas, delivers direct patient care and supports high-quality outcomes in accordance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and patient-centered care practices. The nurse implements and monitors care plans, assesses patient conditions, and adjusts interventions to support recovery, continuity of care, and overall patient outcomes. The role coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team and communicates patient status using electronic health records (EHR/EMR), supporting effective care coordination, accurate documentation, compliance, safety, and quality improvement. The schedule is evening shift, PRN.

Requirements

Registered Nurse credential from the Texas Board of Nursing, obtained before the hire date or job transfer date.
Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing, or professional licensure at the time of hire.
Advanced Life Support certification obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification obtained within 6 months (180 days) of hire or job transfer; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
