Demonstrates clinical competency using evidence-based practices and research throughout the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and outcomes. The role includes patient and family education, discharge planning, documentation, advocacy, quality monitoring and improvement, and maintaining professional competence and licensure. This is a non-management position reporting to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.
