STAT Registered Nurse $50-55/hr (RN)
About The Position
BAYADA is actively hiring Part-Time STAT Registered Nurses (RNs) for opportunities throughout Passaic, Bergen, & Hudson County, NJ. As a STAT RN, you will be part of our highest skilled nursing team, assisting clients transitioning home from the hospital and filling last-minute openings. You will provide the initial 4-6 weeks of skilled nursing care, ensuring client needs are met according to their care plan through personalized one-on-one nursing attention at home. This role involves working closely with Clinical Managers and offers flexible day or night shifts. BAYADA provides paid one-to-one training for specialized skills. The role focuses on hands-on care with one client at a time, traveling to the client's home for the full shift. Responsibilities include performing assessments, monitoring conditions, executing doctors' orders, and documenting observations, interventions, and evaluations.
Requirements
- Valid New Jersey Nursing license in good standing.
- CPR Certified.
- Willingness to work across Passaic, Bergen, & Hudson County.
- Willingness to work with all ages; Infant through Geriatric.
- Willingness to work in all private duty settings; In-Home & In-School.
- One year of RN experience.
- Hands-on tracheostomy and ventilator experience with infants, pediatrics, and adults.
- Commitment to a minimum of two twelve-hour shifts per week.
- Commitment to work one weekend per month.

Responsibilities
- Provide initial 4-6 weeks of skilled nursing care to clients transitioning home from the hospital.
- Deliver personalized one-on-one nursing attention at home.
- Ensure each client's needs are met according to their care plan.
- Perform assessments, monitor clients’ conditions, and document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
- Work with clients of all ages, from infants to the elderly, with varying acuity levels including trach and vent care.
- Travel to client's home and stay for the full shift.
