About The Position
The full-time Registered Nurse in Progressive Care delivers patient- and family-centered care in a culturally competent manner. The role uses evidence-based standards for quality, safety, and service while ensuring population-specific patient care. The position is with UHealth–University of Miami Health System, an academic medical center serving South Florida, Latin America, and the Caribbean. The system provides patient care supported by research and medical education at the Miller School of Medicine.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Hold a Registered Nurse license.
- Hold Basic Life Support (BLS-CPR) certification.
- Hold ACLS certification.
- Have one year of acute care nursing experience.
Nice To Haves
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred. RNs hired with an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree have two years to complete the BSN degree.
