Pathway Family Services is seeking a Full-Time Lead Nurse to join their team. The Lead Nurse will lead a team of healthcare professionals, providing oversight and treatment planning for the physical well-being of children and adolescents receiving residential treatment for behavioral health needs. This role involves providing nursing care to children overcoming trauma, ensuring assessments are completed, medication management orders are fulfilled, and educating children and families about their care. The Lead Nurse will also coordinate health appointments and appointments with in-house medication providers, and ensure all documentation meets federal, state, and program requirements. The ideal candidate is compassionate, eager to learn, wants to help families build on their strengths, and connect them with community resources. A trauma-informed approach is essential when collaborating with clients, families, and team members. This is an in-office position with a flexible schedule determined in collaboration with facility administration to cover the needs of a 24/7 residential facility. Supervision experience is preferred. Candidates must be 21 years of age and 3 years older than the oldest resident, possess a valid driver's license, meet agency underwriting standards for driving, and have valid driver's insurance. Eligibility for credentialing with Kansas Medicaid for billing is also required.
