About The Position

The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role provides direct patient care within the scope of practice and directs and guides patient and family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for care provided to assigned patients. The nurse communicates with physicians about changes in patients’ clinical conditions, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptoms, and responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.

Lower Bucks Hospital is a community hospital serving the Lower Bucks County region with medical, surgical, and emergency care. Located in Bristol, Pennsylvania, it has more than 200 physicians on staff and approximately 700 employees.

Requirements

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain certification.
• Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain certification is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Previous acute-care hospital experience.
• Ventilator management experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained.
