Nampa med/surg unit is a fast-paced 24 bed Surgical unit that is an ideal place to build strong clinical skills while caring for an increasingly diverse patient population. Typical RN to patient ratios on this unit are 1:5, with reduced ratios of 1:4 for acuity when necessary. For CNAs, the ratios are typically 1:8-10. Requirements

Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing Degree
1+ years of RN experience
Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Responsibilities

Caring for an increasingly diverse patient population on a fast-paced 24 bed Surgical unit.
Building strong clinical skills.
Providing patient-centered care.
Gaining experience in multiple specialties including general surgical procedures with a diversity of medical and satellite telemetry patients.
