About The Position
DaVita is seeking a registered nurse to provide dialysis care in a hospital setting for patients with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney conditions. This fast-paced, collaborative role involves working directly with patients in ICU, CCU, ED, and other acute-care units. Paid training is provided, and dialysis experience is not required. Nurses may work across a variety of hospital units and rotate between facilities as needed. Schedules include regular and on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays, and daily schedules may change based on patient needs. A $10,000 bonus is offered for this role.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Must pass a color vision test; accommodations are available.
- Full COVID-19 vaccination may be required by hospitals in the program, potentially including a booster when eligible.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- ICU, CCU, ER, or Med/Surg experience is helpful but not required.
- CNN/CDN certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver inpatient dialysis therapies, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
- Collaborate with hospital teams and DaVita clinical staff.
- Monitor patients, adjust treatment, and help ensure quality outcomes.
- Support and oversee patient care with the help of PCTs.
- Adapt to a dynamic hospital environment.
