Requirements

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Ohio Registered Nursing License.
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health conditions, including taking vital signs, reviewing medical history, and identifying any existing or potential health issues.
Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' progress throughout their healthcare journey.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patients' needs, treatment goals, and medical conditions. Ensure that care plans are regularly updated to reflect any changes in patients' health status.
Perform various medical procedures, such as wound care, blood draws, IV therapy, and specimen collection, following established protocols and maintaining strict adherence to safety and infection control measures.
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to patient care. Communicate effectively to ensure coordinated and comprehensive treatment plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all care provided, assessments, treatments, and communications. Comply with clinic policies and legal regulations regarding patient privacy and record-keeping.
Performs independent face-to-face or telephone triage using written triage protocols.
Performs diagnostic and laboratory tests including but not limited to EKG, urine dips, urine HCG, etc. Supervises and oversees quality assurance of these testing services performed in primary care clinic.
