Registered Nurse RN - Perioperative OR - Full Time - Days
About The Position
The Operating Room Registered Nurse works in a surgical environment alongside surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, exceptional care before, during, and after surgery. The role includes preparing and caring for patients throughout the surgical experience, monitoring their condition, documenting care, and supporting patients and families. The position is full-time on day shift. Self-scheduling, exposure to new technology and various aspects of the OR, and a strong teamwork environment are highlighted. A $15,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for qualified candidates are offered.
Requirements
- Current Louisiana RN license.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

- Operating room experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and care for patients throughout the surgical experience.
- Monitor vital signs, administer medications, assist with positioning, and perform assessments.
- Complete clinical documentation and post-operative assessments.
- Monitor patients for pain, complications, infection, and healing.
- Educate and support patients and families.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to promote safe, efficient patient care.
- Respond to emergency situations as needed.
