Augusta Health is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to join the Augusta Health team that is making a difference in the lives of our patients in the Shenandoah Valley by providing quality in-home care. The Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care for home health patients following physicians’ orders and the established Plan of Care. This position participates in the supervision of Home Health Aides and LPN's, coordinates and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team ensuring the enactment of the Plan of Treatment, and reports to the Clinical Coordinator.

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed to practice as a professional nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Positive attitude, with enthusiasm for caring for our community
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management skills

Nice To Haves

• One year of recent home health experience preferred
• Home health or hospice experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides skilled nursing care for home health patients following physicians’ orders and the established Plan of Care.
• Participates in the supervision of Home Health Aides and LPN's.
• Coordinates and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team ensuring the enactment of the Plan of Treatment.
