Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
About The Position
The Registered Nurse will work in the Emergency Department in Nashua, New Hampshire. This is a 13-week contract position accepting local and travel candidates. The role is scheduled for day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM in 12-hour shifts, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Holiday coverage is required. The nurse will perform emergency patient assessment, medication administration, care planning, and documentation using Epic EMR. Up to 16 hours of orientation may be unpaid, and the facility may cancel up to three shifts during the contract. Local candidates receive a $10-per-hour lower local rate than other candidates. The listed compensation is $1,700 to $1,973 in weekly gross pay, a blended hourly rate of $50 to $55, and a weekly stipend of $1,246.
Requirements
- Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- At least 3 years of nursing experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current PALS certification.
- Current CPI certification.
- Comfort with emergency patient assessment, medication administration, care planning, and documentation.
Nice To Haves
- Recent Emergency Department experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Specialty nursing certification preferred.
