REGISTERED NURSE (on-call)
About The Position
This on-call Registered Nurse position serves individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). The role involves providing person-centered nursing care with small, manageable caseloads, coordinating medical care, appointments, and follow-up for individuals with I/DD. The nurse will oversee medication administration, ensure regulatory compliance, advocate for people supported in healthcare and clinical settings, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on individualized care plans. Maintaining accurate health records and nursing documentation, as well as supporting and educating staff on health, safety, and medical best practices, are also key responsibilities.
Requirements
- New York State Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
- Valid NYS driver’s license
