About The Position
Spirit Hospice of Georgia is seeking an on-call hospice nurse to provide care when patients need it most. This role operates on a 7-on, 7-off schedule, allowing for days off while remaining on standby for after-hours needs. A triage process is in place to ensure calls are only made when a visit is genuinely required.
Requirements
- Current RN license in the State of Georgia
- Current CPR & First Aid Certification
- Reliable and legal transportation to and from patient's place of residence
Nice To Haves
- Hospice or home care experience is a plus
- Kindness and reliability matter the most
Responsibilities
- Provide on-call hospice nursing care to patients during after-hours periods.
- Respond to patient needs when a visit is truly necessary, as determined by the triage process.
