About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for Same Day Surgery on a PRN basis in Clarksville. VUMC is a community dedicated to advancing health and wellness through patient care, education, and research. This role involves applying the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including education and continuum of care planning. The nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team, establish patient goals, and evaluate progress. Professional growth is encouraged through learning activities aligned with Board of Nursing standards. The position emphasizes evidence-based practice, care planning, patient education, and patient assessment and evaluation, all within a supportive and collaborative nursing philosophy.
