About The Position

Provides professional nursing care to patients in the clinic/outpatient setting in compliance with professional practice standards. Promotes a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach among patients, families, and members of the care delivery team. The position is essential to the functioning of SageWest Medical Group. Workload is generated by the number of patients encountered by the provider each day, and the role requires making decisions and judgments based on knowledge and experience.

The position is listed as PRN, with hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. SageWest Health Care operates two hospitals in Fremont County, Wyoming, in Riverton and Lander, and provides a range of health services.

Requirements

• Maintain a current Registered Nurse license in Wyoming.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age-specific principles of growth, development, and life stages to meet each patient’s needs.
• Current BLS certification on the first day or assignment by the Learning Center.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to clinic and outpatient patients in accordance with professional practice standards.
• Promote a collaborative, interdisciplinary approach to care involving patients, families, and the care delivery team.
• Support administration in developing and implementing the hospital’s mission, vision, and overall goals.
• Maintain a positive, cooperative, self-motivated, courteous, and professional attitude; work collaboratively and assist the team as needed.
• Relate effectively to coworkers and peers, communicate and work with others, and respond appropriately to constructive feedback.
