About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for the general supervision and coordination of nursing personnel activities during shifts, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality and continuity of patient care. The RN will utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, care planning, and interventions. This role involves collaboration with Physicians and other healthcare clinicians in planning and implementing patient care. Additional duties may be assigned within the scope of the role.

Requirements

  • Active RN licensure required.
  • BLS required.
  • Degree in Nursing required.
  • Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety, and infection control standards.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to resolve customer complaints and concerns.
  • Position requires sitting for 20% of the workday and mobility 80% of the workday.
  • Occasional stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Frequent reaching, use of hands and repetitive action.
  • Occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 150 pounds.
  • Continuous need for speaking with clear diction and hearing sensitivity in conversation either by phone or in person.
  • Continuous visual acuity at close and distant range.
  • Inside protected from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
  • Minimal noise levels.
  • Much exposure to computer work.
  • Occasional exposure to risk of electrical shock.
  • Some exposure to infectious disease while performing job-related tasks.
  • Some exposure to hazardous chemicals.
  • Occasional exposure to radiation.

Nice To Haves

  • BSN degree preferred.
  • Additional certifications (ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc) may be required depending upon area assigned.
