About The Position
The Intensive Care / Coronary Care Registered Nurse coordinates nursing care for critically ill patients in the units, including post-operative, ventilated, post-cardiac-arrest, post-heart-catheterization, hemodynamically unstable, and other critically ill patients. The nurse responds to codes and emergency situations as a member of the hospital team, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary staff and other patient-care team members to maintain professional nursing practice standards in the intensive care / coronary care setting.
