Our pediatric unit provides 24-hour specialized care for patients ranging from birth to 21-years old who have complex medical needs. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required.
- Valid South Dakota RN Licensure required.
- All positions require a clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer.
Nice To Haves
- Prior nursing and/or direct care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs nursing tasks for pediatric patients for both our medically complex and inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Completes pediatric assessments, respiratory care, trach care, suctioning, neb treatments, and ventilator use
- Communicates a clear picture of a child’s health and any changes in their status
- Serves as a primary nurse within a specific unit
- Administers medications/enteral feedings
- Promotes health and safety
- Building relationships with our long-term patients and their families
