About The Position
Under the supervision of the Unit Director, the Registered Nurse (RN) performs patient care functions in accordance with state nursing regulations and established hospital policies and procedures. The Clinical Leader or Charge Nurse provides direct supervision for the assigned shift.
Requirements
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required.
- Current Maine RN license or compact license.
- Current BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of hire.
- Current ACLS certification or obtain it within 90 days of hire.
- PALS certification or obtain it within 1 year of hire.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Holiday coverage is required.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in a PACU setting preferred.
