About The Position

UW Medical Center - Northwest has an outstanding opportunity for a Per Diem, Variable days shifts, REGISTERED NURSE in the PRE ANESTHESIA DEPARTMENT. Our Pre-Anesthesia Clinic RNs provide pre-anesthetic assessment and teaching to 40-60 patients/day, either in clinic or by phone. Nurses receive specialty training to perform a complete pre-anesthesia evaluation.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted WA license
• One year of recent ICU or ED/ER experience or prior PACU, Phase I and Phase 2
• ACLS and PALS required
• L-RN | REGISTERED NURSE LICENSE - WA State

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-anesthetic assessment and teaching to 40-60 patients/day, either in clinic or by phone.
• Perform a complete pre-anesthesia evaluation.
