Registered Nurse - 2nd shift
About The Position
The Congregation of Holy Cross is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to provide care and support to the men residing in their religious community at Holy Cross House, a non-licensed operation providing assisted living and skilled care. This role involves providing medical, nutritional, emotional, and spiritual care with compassion and initiative. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, calm under pressure, and able to offer leadership to the nursing team, while maintaining confidentiality and following instructions accurately and safely. This position is for the 2nd shift.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma from a certified nursing program
- 1-3 years relevant experience
- Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Indiana
- Experience with Microsoft Office and standard office equipment
- Outstanding interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including standing and walking throughout the shift, lifting up to 25 pounds
- Punctual and dependable
- Ability to remain focused while performing multiple tasks and providing leadership
- Compassionate, detail-oriented and organized
Responsibilities
- Provide care and support to the men residing in the religious community.
