About The Position
We are looking for a dedicated RN to join our 2nd shift team in a long-term care environment. Ridgecrest is a nonprofit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) founded in 1966, dedicated to exceptional, faith-based care in a serene, supportive setting. Our campus is set on 22 landscaped acres with mature trees, butterfly gardens, and peaceful outdoor seating. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate professional to join our team, committed to providing high-quality services for a happy and healthy community life.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as an RN in Iowa
- Strong clinical expertise
- Excellent communication skills
- Deep empathy
- Comfortable in a busy, collaborative work setting
Nice To Haves
- Nursing experience in a long-term care facility is preferred
- Backgrounds in geriatric care
- Backgrounds in rehabilitation
- Backgrounds in managing chronic illnesses
Responsibilities
- Monitoring patients' health and giving medications
- Helping with daily activities
- Offering emotional support to both patients and their families
- Recording patient progress
- Updating care plans
- Making sure all healthcare rules and facility policies are followed
