About The Position
Seeking a Registered Nurse for Baptist Health Floyd's Women's Health Services. This is a full-time position (36 hours weekly) with day shifts (7 am-7 pm) and is benefit-eligible. In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. Women's Health Services is conveniently located on the same floor as the Labor and Delivery unit and is a 19-bed unit utilizing a couplet care model following the AWHONN staffing guidelines. The unit also cares for female post-operative patients who have recently undergone gynecological or bariatric procedures.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN License or graduate of approved nursing program.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
- NRP certification required (obtained within 6 months of hire).
- S.T.A.B.L.E certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
