About The Position

Encompass Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide individualized, compassionate care in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The nurse supports patients throughout their recovery by using specialized skills and technology, understanding their needs, and assisting with rehabilitation goals. The role includes supervising care and treatments, conducting assessments, tailoring care plans, addressing patient concerns, coordinating with other departments, and supporting colleagues with complex patient needs. Requirements

• Valid RN licensure as required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification preferred.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• One year of experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise care and treatments, lead patient assessments, tailor care plans, and address patient concerns.
• Build meaningful relationships with patients and their families and understand their needs to facilitate recovery.
• Collaborate and communicate with various departments to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide direct patient care when needed.
• Serve as a resource for fellow staff regarding complex patient needs and inquiries.
• Celebrate patient victories and milestones.
