About The Position

The Labor and Delivery Unit at Atrium Health Cabarrus provides exceptional care to families throughout our region, offering a supportive and compassionate environment for both low- and high-risk births. Our unit features 5 OB triage rooms, 13 labor rooms, and 2 obstetrical operating rooms, and we proudly welcome approximately 3,000 babies each year. We are fully staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with an in-house Laborist, continuous anesthesia coverage, and access to Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists and a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This structure allows us to provide safe, seamless care for mothers and babies at every stage. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
