Registered Nurse (RN)-Memory Care

About The Position
American Senior Communities is seeking a Registered Nurse for memory care at Heritage House. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories, and use your nursing skills to promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. You will help create a supportive, engaging environment and work with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care. The position is full-time on nights, with compensation of $38–$41 per hour.
Requirements
- Current, valid Registered Nurse license in Indiana.
- Proficient medication management skills.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
- Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
- Ability to communicate interpersonally and support a respectful, positive work environment.
- Ability to collaborate and work toward shared goals with nursing and other facility teams.
Responsibilities
- Promote the physical and psychosocial well-being of residents.
- Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for residents.
- Promote teamwork within the care team to meet residents’ needs.
- Collaborate with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
- Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
- Manage medications.
- Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values in interactions with residents, family members, customers, and staff.
