RN/LPN Memory Care
About The Position
OceanView at Falmouth is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join their team at Legacy Memory Care. This role focuses on providing nursing care and clinical support to residents in a memory care setting, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. The position emphasizes building relationships with residents and their families, understanding individual needs, and creating a supportive, home-like environment. Nurses will work collaboratively with a care team, offering guidance and making a meaningful difference in residents' lives.
Requirements
- Compassion, sound clinical judgment, dependability, and a collaborative approach to care
- Associate Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or Diploma in Nursing
- Current Maine RN or LPN license
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain within one month of hire
- Valid driver's license

- Experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, or dementia care
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care in accordance with individualized resident care plans
- Assess and monitor residents and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Administer medications and treatments within the scope of your nursing license
- Provide clinical guidance and support to CRMA and direct-care staff
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, providers, and members of the care team
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Help coordinate resident care and follow up on clinical needs
- Promote resident dignity, independence, safety, and quality of life
- Support a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment
- Follow established clinical practices, policies, procedures, and safety standards
