About The Position

One North is a 26-bed adult inpatient behavioral health unit that provides safe, structured, and recovery-oriented care for individuals experiencing acute psychiatric crises. Our multidisciplinary team supports stabilization, therapeutic engagement, and crisis management within a compassionate and secure environment. The unit emphasizes teamwork, accountability, strong communication, and a culture of safety for both patients and teammates. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
  • Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • BSN required. RN candidates (external or internal) without a BSN must enroll in a BSN program within 1 year of hire/transfer and complete it within 3 years of enrollment.
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience preferred.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience preferred. Exceptional candidates without supervisory experience may be considered if they show strong leadership potential.
  • Leadership experience and a strong background in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing required for a Unit Supervisor role.
  • Experience in an inpatient psychiatric or crisis setting preferred.
