The DPH Rapid Response Team is a multi-disciplinary team comprising a critical care nurse (ICURN), critical care respiratory therapist (RT), managing physician, pharmacy support, and Intensivist support when needed. The team's primary goals are to reduce Code Blue 90s outside of Intensive Care Units (ICUs), minimize harm events outside ICUs, decrease unplanned ICU admissions and re-admissions, and provide nursing support and education.
