This Registered Nurse (RN) position involves accepting responsibility and accountability for the delivery of patient care within a multidisciplinary team, adhering to the nursing process and professional nursing standards. The role includes assessing and evaluating patients' physical, psychosocial, environmental, spiritual, social, and educational needs, documenting responses to nursing interventions, and collaborating with the team to achieve desired patient outcomes. The RN will develop, implement, and update patient care plans, including discharge plans, based on nursing practice standards, health center policy, and patient/family needs, utilizing clinical and critical thinking skills and evidence-based practice. Additionally, the RN provides daily direction and guidance to Licensed Practical Nurses and Nurse Assistants, and facilitates learning opportunities to meet patient and family educational needs by assessing learning needs and initiating teaching plans.
