About The Position
Lakeview Specialty Hospital & Rehab is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct care and medical management for program participants of all ages receiving traumatic brain injury rehabilitation and intensive medical management. The nurse contributes to interdisciplinary treatment plans or plans of care, assesses patients’ presenting problems, incorporates assessed needs into individual plans, and updates and evaluates those plans as necessary. The hospital specializes in traumatic brain injuries and other neurobehavioral and medically complex conditions. The position is available full-time or part-time. Shifts are 12 hours, starting at 7 a.m., with every other weekend included in the rotation. Compensation is $41–$48.96 per hour, plus shift differential, and the posting advertises a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Lakeview is a Joint Commission-accredited long-term acute care and inpatient rehabilitation hospital located on more than 80 acres in Waterford, Wisconsin.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct program participant care and medical management for people of all ages receiving TBI rehabilitation and intensive medical management services.
- Participate in developing interdisciplinary treatment plans or plans of care.
- Assess patients regarding presenting problems and integrate assessed needs into individual plans of care.
- Update and evaluate plans of care as necessary.
