Registered Nurse - Medical Group Dermatology
About The Position
Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Medical Group Dermatology practice in Skokie, IL. This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week, with hours from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday. Some flexibility may be required to cover physician vacations. The role involves providing direct nursing care, managing patient communications via phone and electronic messages, handling medication refills and prior authorizations, educating patients on care plans, and documenting care in the Epic electronic medical record system. Requirements
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Graduate of State-approved school of nursing; ASN minimum
- BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association required
- 1 year of nursing experience in an office or hospital setting required

Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care services under the direction of the office Practice Manager and Physicians
- Perform phone triage
- Communicate test results to patients
- Process medication refills
- Handle prior authorizations
- Convey plans of care to patients
- Provide patient education and teaching
- Review and respond to NorthShore Connect messages from patients
- Chart in Epic, the electronic medical record
