About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) at USDH delivers high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing a variety of procedures. Reporting to the Director of Endoscopy Operations and Nurse Manager, the RN uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. The role includes direct patient interaction, coordinating care, supervising non-licensed staff, and complying with regulatory standards and facility policies. This full-time position works an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday, with no weekends required. The work takes place in a professional medical office environment using standard office equipment. Travel depends on location.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current State Registered Nurse licensure.
Current BLS/ACLS certification.
Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.

Responsibilities

Deliver direct nursing care before, during, and after procedures, following established protocols and the nursing process.
Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and non-licensed staff as necessary.
Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and supplies for patient care.
Assist with procedures as required, following physician orders and PA State Board of Nursing guidelines.
Monitor patients’ vital signs, response to treatment, and overall condition, intervening as needed.
Administer medications according to physician orders, established protocols, and safety guidelines.
Clean, disinfect, and sterilize instruments and equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and infection control standards.
Collaborate with staff, physicians, and management to address nursing issues and interpret facility policies.
Participate in performance improvement, infection control, emergency preparedness, safety, and quality assurance programs.
Maintain professionalism and confidentiality in interactions with patients and staff.
