About The Position

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network is seeking a staff Registered Nurse to join its hospital-based pediatric team. The nurse applies specialized training, knowledge, and nursing care in a multidisciplinary setting and delivers care in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols. The role supports a collaborative nursing environment focused on clinical decision-making, communication, professional development, and high-quality care for children and families. This is a per-diem position with variable shifts in Tacoma, Washington.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
Current BLS Certification.
ACL S, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification, as required by the facility or department.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
Certification in a specialty area preferred.
One year of experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care on an ongoing basis.
Use nursing education and experience to deliver care through the nursing process and in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care and patient experience and reduce costs.
Foster a learning environment for patients and families, nursing staff, and members of the health care team.
Advocate for ethical, holistic care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and health across diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
